Syracuse University does not discriminate between the students who come from the background of homeschooling and the ones who have had the contemporary education. The former applicants just have to submit documents like:

  • Transcripts (or equivalent) of courses from grade 9-12 along with a complete record of the students’ performances. This document should signed by a home school instructor, guardian or a parent
  • SAT  1 or ACT scores (minus the writing section; that is not required)
  • Two Letters of Recommendation (both can’t be from someone within the household)
  • Proof of school completion by the state Department of Education/ local school district OR General Education Diploma
