How diverse is student population at UCLA

Catherine Bui, I transferred to UCLA from a community college. I applied to all of the University of California, and I was admitted to all of them.

The majority of the students at UCLA are Asian or White. Hispanics would come in second and Blacks would be third. There are a good amount of Asian international students (who tend to major in more quantitative subjects such as STEM or Economics) and transfer students (typically from California Community Colleges). We actually have a very strong transfer community (to the point where there is a UCLA transfer page on Facebook and a building at UCLA solely for supporting transfer students). There is approximately an equal amount of females and males, so I would not fret about not being able to fit in.
